Backpackersbuddy.com.au is a new site set up by a a local accountancy firm to help with the more mundane (but vital!) aspects of travel to Australia. They offer help and advice on all matters tax, links to essential training courses for those budding to work they around the country, shipping for all the stuff you accumulate on the road and – most importantly – an online tax and superanuation refund service.

Built in collaboration with creative suite, the site was rapidly put together in time for the July rush (and the sausage sizzle launch party!) . The site build features an open source content management system allowing for easy updating of content, with sidebar modules, polls and complex forms for tax refund applications.
